| It seems pretty lucky for me to know what i like since i was 8 years old. I started to like English while i was wandering around my family's paddy field, i saw a guy speaking something or explaining something to the very strange look group of people which later i know that they are all called "Farang". I was so barzzared because what they were talking is not our Thai language but some strange and understandable language else for me at that time. Soon i found out that it was called English and i have to study in the class next year when i turned 10 or grade 5. As soon as i started to know what is English, i know that there is another thing i like apart from weekend. The more i know the more i like it. Summer of the year 2001 i started to work as a tour guide as i had learned to be for 4 years. My world was opened at that period of time. I enjoyed talking exchanging, explaining things to tourist and also meeting up with some other strangers from many places around the world. But after 6 years of working as a tour guide i realized that there are so many challenging things to do out there also it was the time for me to do something new or make a big turn in my life. I wanna be my own BOSS "I wanna be the millianaire so fucking bad..." that would explain my feeling at that time precisely. Pong started SPICYTHAI on 2006 a few years after he visited Australia and the co-incident that he hired my wife as the manager so i was always stick around. Year 2007 i joined in when he liked to move on for another hostel in Laos. Here come so called "Noom Spicythai" and "Noom Spicyhostels". After 4 years of running Spicythaibackpackers Hostel in Chiang Mai i have walked to another turn of my life which i have decided already which way i will take. SPICYPAIBACKPACKERS is the road i choose and have to walk through torns, rough stones or mud but i know at the end there is something worth to go for waiting there. Thank you for Pong who gave me the chance to step out of my routine way. Thank you for the very understanding and fully supported family includes my wife "Saow" . Thank you for "Farang" friends and guests which i can not put all the name in 10 pages that make me be me today. I will try to keep it spicy like what Pong always says and will try my best to go for "SPICYWORLD". See you when i see you :) |
