Ou and family took me in as family and made me feel welcome from day one. Pheung offered all of the help in the world getting me acclimated to a new lifestyle and reality. The hostel environment and vibe spread happiness and love like the plague. LP was my home for almost two months and I wouldn't have left when I did if my visa extensions hadn't ran up. The place is heaven, I think about it often. And as I'm in Brazil right now, I think about catching a flight there and going back to work at SpicyLaos, no joke. It's a matter of when, not if, I go back, and I can't wait for the day!
